Oakland Turns One

Look who is already one (well, actually he turned one a few months ago), and I am just posting his sweet shoot.  He had a carnival theme all planned for his big boy birthday party, and it was so nice of the carnival to come to town just for his session.  It was beautiful light and a crisp morning to celebrate one year of growth and sweet smiles.  It has been a joy watching him grow up in pictures this year.

One more post before I go night night.  Jamie and her boys had such a great session playing, laughing, and climbing.  They were naturals, which always makes my job so much fun.  This was a beautiful day with great light and sweet moments.

 

 

 

 

 

The Farrier Family

I can’t believe I have gone this long without a post on my blog.  I am breaking the silence with my sweet friend Shannon and the handsome men in her life!  This was a fun day as we took our time and made good use of her home.  It wasn’t that long ago that her beautiful home was a pile of ashes after a devastating house fire.  It was a long, long journey to rebuild, but they did rebuild and they are stronger than ever.  We have shared many memories over the years and I cherish our deep friendship.  Enjoy… and I promise I will post some of my fall sessions in the coming days.

 

 

 

 

 

The Bonura Family

The Bonura family is such an inspiration to me!  The strength and joy they have just shines through in so many ways.  They have their hands full with a new baby and a special needs child, but they handle with such grace and love.  I cherished the time in their home watching them interact and love each other so deeply.

Mock Family

This was the first time I met the Mock family… and I am so glad I did.  This was such a wonderful family with the cutest little girls!  It was a joy to capture their little smiles and sweet personalities.  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Everett

I cannot get enough of little E, is he adorable or what?  Already 6 months old and sitting up like a big boy.  He joined his cousin Oakland for some shots this time, which I’m sure grandma will be thrilled with. Just enjoy these big blue eyes!
