What a great time I had with the Sawyers! This session was done the week this family closed on their new property. I knew I would love it when I pulled on their street with the big sign that said “Walnut Grove.” I PROMISE you, my kids were watching Little House on the Prairie when I left for the photo session, no joke. It was so meaningful to capture them on their new piece of land- just thinking about all of the memories and changes that are in store for this precious family. We captured some natural shots of everyone, even down to the family in their rain boots. It was another exciting shoot, as the family van got stuck in a huge sink hole when we pulled up. They had the pleasure of meeting their new neighbors by asking them to help tow their van out of a hole. Once that was done, Griffin took a tumble directly into a mud hole just as we were preparing for our FIRST family shot, so much for coordinating outfits. Ha! Thank goodness mom and dad are the most laid back, kind couple, because it was all good! Okay, enough already… here are some pics.
