Chris and Christine

It is always so much fun to do a session with friends! Chris and Christine are such a laid-back, fun couple with a great sense of humor.   Not to mention they are both incredibly talented musically.  I have had the privilege of singing with Christine often and always enjoy it.  This was more like a hang out session than photo session (at least for me)!  Christine asked me to do a maternity session that would capture life the way it is for them right now.   My hope was to capture the beauty of expectancy, togetherness, love, friendship, and the intimacy that comes with bringing in new life together.   I could have sat and took pictures all day while Chris was playing his guitar.  It was a beautiful moment for me, as I thought about how their child will one day look back at these pictures of mom and dad before he was here.  I thought about the countless times Chris and Christine create music together now, and how music and lyrics will be that much richer after they bring their child into this world.  So many blessings to come.
